Makeup and Acne - Is your temporary solution, part of the problem?
Although there is a popular myth that too much makeup causes
acne in women, this has not been
tested clinically. However, it
has been scientifically proven that
regular makeup can aggravate pre-existing acne.
The makeup can cause breakouts?
There are several factors that can aggravate existing acne, or simply lead to "outbreaks." However, it manifests itself differently in each person and depends on other factors such as age, sex, hormones, time and stress.
The most important
relationship between makeup and acne, can be summarized in these two main factors:

typical cosmetics such as lotions, gels, oils and face masks prepared from oils. These
products can cause clogging of the
pores, although the intended use is for
skin care and hair.
For this reason, when purchasing these products, you should pay close attention to reading the product labels. Be sure to read: "oil free", "non-comedogenic" or "no acnegenic."
